Your most ignored advisor…your body

There are three words that go together as one:  mind, body and soul.  You hear that over and over again as one.  Yet the body, an equal, under-respected, advisor, gets put at the tale end of the mind and soul in our day to day activities and thoughts. There is nothing more direct than when your body gives you a gut scream when someone wants you to do something you don’t want to do, but your head says you should.  There is nothing more true than when you get an exciting idea and your body is fizzy inside and nudges … Continue reading

The Perfection of Imperfection

The Perfection of Imperfection By Joyce Anderson www.Conversations with YourSelf.com Perfection comes from embracing our imperfect life.  How is this done? Gratitude…acknowledging that everything we have been through isperfectly designed for our learning.   First we recognize that many of us are hung up on reaching for perfection in our physical life.  Worst of all, if “it’s” not perfect, we may look at ourselves as some form of failure.  In search of perfection we allow nothing in between, yet the “in between” is where the richness of lessons are that help us grow spiritually.  It is the “in between” where we find … Continue reading

Exercise to make decision with Intuition

In making a decision with intuition, consider your body being a Geiger counter, or a pendulum when getting an answer.  Here is an exercise you can do based on an NLP exercise from Robert Diltz.  I have tweaked it to be an intuition tool. 1)  Have a decision you want to make. 2) Get 6 pieces of blank paper. 3) Quest your question down on one page. 4) Write your first solution on another page.  Then write your second solution down. At this point you probably have already figured out an either/or solution.  Now write a third solution.  Then a … Continue reading

(which you might not see but intuitively know) 2)  that can be done anywhere, anytime. (not dependent on your job) Once you are aware of your talent, you can work your purpose. Perhaps your talent does not fall in the … Continue reading
